Vomero and Certosa di San Martino

The Vomero is the hilly district of Naples, fancy and elegant.

It is full of beautiful houses, parks, museums and a castle where there is an extraordinary and complete view on the city, Castel Sant’Elmo, founded in the medieval era, and nearby there is also the Chiesa and the Certosa of San Martino.

You can also visit the Villa Floridiana, acquired in the 19th century by the Borbone reigning dynasty. Today houses the National Museum of ceramics "Duke of Martina" where one of the largest collections of Capodimonte porcelain, is on display.
